Do I wash my hair before the appointment?

• Yes. Please arrive with washed and dried hair. If you have no time to dry, we can provide drying services for a cost of $20.

How often should I oil my hair?

• We recommend oil every 2-3 days. Try our all-natural BRAID BAR SCALP OIL.

Should I wash my braids or moisturize them?

• To moisturize, spray daily with a water based spray like our BRAID BAR BRAID SPRAY.

• If a wash is needed, use a low-lather or no-lather shampoo to prevent frizz. Of course, we’ve got you covered with our BRAID BAR SHAMPOO.

What is the best way to protect my hair while I sleep?

• Wrap hair nightly in a silk bonnet or scarf. We also recommend trying out a silk pillowcase of maximum style preservation.

What hair styles should I avoid?

• To protect scalp and hairline, avoid tight ponytails— especially while sleeping.

What is your policy for revisions and touch-ups?

• Revisions are free within 3 days of service.

• Any touch-ups render a service fee. Price varies according to scope of work.
